The 13th Middle East Geosciences Conference and Exhibition (GEO 2018) returns from 5 – 8 March 2018 to the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain.
Organised by UBM AEM, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), GEO continues to be the premier platform for petroleum geoscience in the region.
The AAPG, EAGE and SEG as conference organisers, in collaboration with a programme committeeof regional and international representatives, are soliciting high quality technical papers under the theme ‘Pushing the Technical Limits: Shaping the Energy Landscape’.
“The conference will host a number of executive sessions led by technical influencers and we encourage professionals to take this opportunity to participate and share valuable ideas and knowledge. The conference will focus on geological studies, reservoir challenges and the role of geoscience in the environment, safety, risk management and innovation,” said Ahmad Al Eidan, GEO 2018 General Chair and Deputy CEO – Drilling & Technology Directorate, Kuwait Oil Company.

A three-day exhibition of oil and gas products and services will run parallel to the conference from 5 – 8 March. Set to feature over 120 exhibitors from 20 countries, the exhibition covers all areas of the oil and gas exploration industry.
